In this painting I wanted to show how absurd the wallstreet and banking sellout has become. The abandonment of our industry in
exchange for money lending middlemen after a quick buck scam has been the death of our once great nation. There is a reason history is full of nations and people who abhorred the ‘money lender’. Given free reign by our government with promises of eternal growth and cradle to grave entitlements through financing. This easy access to money that rewards greed and waste by passing traditional market forces that have money chasing tangible goods and resources we now have a Broken economy chasing financing opportunity based/counting on the ignorance of the investor.
“Psst I’ll sell you a bridge in Brooklyn”…”err I mean you want to invest in collateralized debt obligations” made up of bridges and moneys lent to states to build bridges… I mean that’s triple A baby. States don’t go Bankrupt!”?. Ya and the Internet bubble scam stocks were a sure thing with catch words like “emerging markets”. Laws from the first depression were to old fashioned for our so advanced society.
The lobbyist slop was dumped on the capitol for the pigs in washington to engorge on . The once worshepd Allen Greenspan’s Fed dropped rates and the greediest and most unethical thrived on the flood of money real and made up.
The banks lent to any average Joe.. Why not the government guaranteed the sale with Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac. Eagerly the Nation took hold of the dream “Houses only go up”,…”best investment you can make”, “future nest egg”. Small minded figured out “work is for suckers” and borrowd on a lie. Dish washers were buying multiple houses. While the ethical sure and steady ‘old’ American way of work hard and save for the future were punished. A mini wallstreet mentality of fake it till you make it, Its all about me and the prophetic “I’m spending by kids inheritance” thrived.
Now that the quick buck has become entrenched at all levels of this nation. The party’s over for the little guy and the elite are cashing out on there investments, lies, micro second credit scam gambling or the tried and true first depression feeding frenzy of gobbling the real assets (Gold, Multi generation family farm, industry you know like Budweiser etc) of the American middle class. You know because like the first depression no ones (Bank) gonna give you money. Welcome to the old worlds dream society of kings and serfs.
Those lucky enough to have been the cash under the mattress will loose value over time at such a breathtaking speed you are in effect forced to let wallstreet take there pound of flesh or uncle sam no matter same thing at this point. Or the dumber of bunch that got lucky and are Never able to figure out why they keep loosing to the middlemen or that monkey who throws darts at the stock Page of the Wallstreet Journal.

I tuned into beck a few times before the kids would get in the car on the way to school. His show is composed of talking about the media talking about him. He than would talk about the rally and desperately needing to sell more tickets as it was going to cost “him” a lot of money (6 million or so). You could tell he was worried as this seemed to be a reoccurring theme like a two-bit T.V. evangelist.
